Live in the moment, never regret, rock the casbah, pump that bass, eat your vegetables, use clichés sparingly. Run your mouth until you’re sweating and tired. Speak in the passive voice when taking responsibility. Accept all advice given to you. Abuse sarcasm regularly.

passiveVoices is an extended metaphor for the politics of life and the poetry of living, an expression of the beauty of random acquaintances, and a vision for a future where we all control our own destinies. I hope it makes you pause for a second or five, just to think–about yourself, about the world, about the people you love, about the people you hate, and about the people to whom you’re indifferent.

In essence, this is an attempt to challenge convention. Only you’ll know if I succeed.
